Isosec presentation

The Digital Health Summit at Salford University is where companies striving to transform the way technology is used in Healthcare will meet and share their solutions. The event is hosted by NHS England with the University.

‘The UK leads the world in many aspects of digital health thanks to its academic base, its visionary clinicians and policy makers, the private companies and public organisations active in the field, and the NHS, which is responsible for commissioning and, in many cases, delivery of care services. Healthcare, in common with other areas such as banking, travel and commerce, is being improved and transformed by the rapid growth and capability of telecommunications and information technologies.’ –The Salford OneCPD depiction of the event, http://www.salford.ac.uk/onecpd/courses/digital-health-conference-and-exhibition

Isosec will be delivering a seminar on how MIA has revolutionised the community healthcare service and how the technology and practice can be replicated for other areas in the NHS. We will be covering the efficiency of the digitised solution in clinician time, financial figures and most importantly, how it can benefit the patient. We shall be unveiling the integrated patient portal part of MIA and showing the collaborative nature of a project that truly was designed by clinicians.

eHealth really is the answer to a lot of the problems facing the UK Healthcare organisation and it’s going to be great to get the companies at the very forefront of making those beneficial changes together so we can learn, share and pave the way for the new wave of healthcare technology. It is all about harnessing lower-cost solutions and building them around the patient. Other seminars to be delivered tomorrow include material from MedeAnalytics, Vodafone UK and Telefonica as well as many more.

We shall be live tweeting directly from the event as well an overall summary of the event to come later on the blog so if you would like to be updated about the future of Digital Healthcare do follow us @isosec.
