Following the recent announcement that Isosec Virtual Smartcards will be centrally funded from NHS Digital during the Covid-19 pandemic, we wanted to share with you the process and the key things you need to know to get started.

You should contact Isosec initially who will manage the direct relationship with NHS organisations.
You do not need to contact NHS Digital initially, however if you do so, NHS Digital will pass on your details to us and you’ll be added to Isosec’s qualification and procurement process.

How to proceed with your order
Once we’ve received your enquiry, we’ll send you two forms – a form for Isosec so we can understand your technical requirements, and a form you will need to submit to NHS Digital for your funding approval. Please send both of these completed back to us. We’ll then arrange a quick call with you to discuss your requirements before you return the NHS Digital form to them. Without these forms we’ll be unable to progress with or discuss your order.
How long will it take?
As the demand for virtual smartcards is extremely high, we ask that you bear with us as we process your order. Once your form is approved by NHS Digital, our delivery team will work with you directly to implement your virtual smartcard solution, and being a cloud based solution, it can be deployed quickly. This may vary depending on level of infrastructure complexity as every health organisation differs.
We know you’ll have initial questions for us, and our team is working hard to respond. Please bear with us at this time – the best way forward is to complete the forms first then we can discuss specific requirements with you following your form submission.
